At Taormina Jewelry, every piece is handcrafted with precision to ensure exceptional durability and longevity. We stand firmly behind the quality of our craftsmanship and materials. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights under Pennsylvania and US federal guidelines.

1. General 30-Day Manufacturing Warranty

Our general warranty covers verified manufacturing and structural defects for a period of 30 days from the official carrier delivery date.

  • Wear & Tear Philosophy: Everyday wear and tear is a natural process for fine jewelry worn daily (including continuous wear or during sleep). Jewelry is not indestructible. Just as a high-performance vehicle requires proper maintenance and is subject to normal component wear, natural surface wear is not a manufacturing defect.
  • Our Commitment: We never abandon our clients. For components not covered under manufacturing defects, we offer professional repair, refurbishment, and component replacement services to keep your pieces in pristine condition.

2. Stainless Steel & Structural Components (Limited Lifetime Warranty)

All surgical-grade stainless steel components, including closures, cables, findings, and wire, carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty against structural failure (such as snapping or cracking of the metal) under normal, intended use.

  • Definition of Lifetime: "Lifetime" is strictly defined as the lifetime of the product's availability in our production catalog.
  • Exclusions: This structural guarantee covers exclusively the physical integrity of the metal components. It explicitly does not cover surface scratches, scuffs, structural deformation caused by crushing, or normal finish wear over time.

3. Beads, Rubber, and Textile Cords (30-Day Coverage)

Beads, rubber elements, and textile components are covered strictly for 30 days from the date of delivery.

  • Natural Degradation: Rubber components are naturally susceptible to body perspiration, cosmetics, and skin acidity, which can cause them to harden, discolor, or degrade over time.
  • Accidental Damage: Components connected by steel cables or textile cords are not covered against breakage, stretching, or separation caused by accidental pulling, snagging, catching, or external physical force.

4. Tension Settings & Gemstones (30-Day Coverage)

Our tension-set rings are engineered with precise millimeter calibration to hold each gemstone securely in place through structural tension. Verified manufacturing or structural defects in the tension setting are covered under the 30-day warranty, beginning on the official carrier delivery date, subject to the exclusions below.

  • Exposed Settings: Because the gemstone is fully exposed to maximize brilliance, striking the ring against a hard surface can alter the structural tension or cause chips, fractures, or loss of the stone.
  • Exclusions: Impact damage, chipped/fractured gemstones, and structural alterations caused by external knocks, drops, or pressure are classified as accidental damage and are not covered under manufacturing defects. For these instances, we provide a dedicated, paid Gemstone Replacement Service.

5. Surface Finishes & Refurbishment

Regular wear, minor scuffs, and surface scratches resulting from daily use (particularly on rings and bands) are normal characteristics of worn metal and are not considered defects. To restore the original finish of your piece, we provide a specialized, paid Refurbishment Service.

6. Warranty Claims, Shipping, & Limitations

  • Prerequisites: Any claim under this warranty must include official proof of purchase from taorminajewelry.com.
  • Photographic Evaluation: Before shipping any item back, customers are strictly required to submit a clear sequence of high-resolution photographs detailing the issue through our Contact Us page. Taormina Jewelry reserves the sole right to assess the issue via photographic evidence to determine whether it stems from a structural production defect or external factors/misuse.
  • Shipping Costs Framework: Shipping responsibilities for all warranty evaluations, repairs, or refurbishment services follow a strict framework. The customer is entirely responsible for all shipping, handling, and insurance costs when sending items to our workshop. In return, Taormina Jewelry will always cover the complimentary shipping costs to return the repaired or serviced item back to the customer.
  • Limitation of Liability: In compliance with the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty is the repair or replacement of the defective item or component at the sole discretion of Taormina Jewelry. Under no circumstances shall Taormina Jewelry be liable for incidental, consequential, or monetary damages exceeding the original purchase price of the item.
